Creating lasting change by connecting community support, resource management, and digital innovation into one holistic picture of growth.
OUR ALIGNMENT
At Ujamaa Community Hub, our mission is intrinsically linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By empowering persons with disabilities through sustainable livelihoods, we actively build a more inclusive and equitable world.
Every program we run is designed to directly address one or more SDGs — from No Poverty (SDG 1) and Decent Work (SDG 8) to Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
Our programs translate international development goals into tangible, measurable outcomes for communities across Tanzania.
WHAT WE DO
Disability Innovation & Assistive Technology Program aims to improve the functional independence and inclusion of persons with disabilities. It bridges the gap between disability and societal barriers by driving research, funding localized production, and distributing technologies—from low-tech mobility aids to advanced digital software.
